The GEN III Level 7 ECWCS Extreme Cold Weather Parka is designed for use during static operations in extreme cold, dry conditions. Constructed with an outer shell fabric that has a water resistant finish and with PrimaLoft® Sport Thermal bonded high-loft insulation, Level VII is highly durable and breathable. The Extreme Cold Weather Parka and Trousers provide protection and warmth from the elements in cold conditions during static operations maintaining warmth even when wet.

The Level VII parka features a two-way center-front zipper opening with a protective wind flap, nylon reinforced elbows, two front zipper pockets, a rip stop nylon inner lining and an elastic cord in the bottom hem for adjustability. It is also constructed with a collar containing a collapsible insulated hood with drawstring that stows easily inside the collar. In addition, there are Velcro fasteners to attach rank badges and name plates as well as elastic cuffs with Velcro adjustment straps. All zippers have a thong for ease of opening and closing when wearing gloves.

Grade 1: Excellent to New/Unissued – Military Surplus products are US Government Issued products and are rated in excellent to new/un-issued condition. These products may be outside of original manufacturer's packaging but they will show minimal or no signs of wear.
Grade 2: Good to Very Good – Products may have been previously washed and light pilling may be present but they retain 100% of their original functionality. Products may have light staining, or marks no holes. All in good working order still.
Grade 3: Fair to Serviceable - Due to wear and laundering products may not be as thick as when originally issued but are still in serviceable condition. Products may have small imperfections but all snags/tears/burns/seams will be less than 1" in size.
